How Do I Return an Item and Get a Refund?
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (June 2014), you have the right to return goods within 14 days of receiving them.
- We do not accept returns after the 14-day period.
- The cancellation period expires 14 days from the day you (or a third party nominated by you) take physical possession of the goods.
- To cancel, you must email a clear statement of your intent to info@skybay.uk before the cancellation period ends.
Your cancellation email must include:
- Your full name
- Order reference number
- Your address
- Email address and contact number
- Date of purchase
- Date goods were received
- Items you wish to return (if multiple items were ordered)
- Whether you would like an exchange or refund
- Reason for return or exchange
Do not return items until we confirm the appropriate return address. The return location depends on where in the UK your order was delivered.
You must return the goods:
- Within 15 days of notifying us of the cancellation.
- At your own risk and cost.
Refunds
- You will be reimbursed for the value of the goods (excluding return shipping).
- Any loss in value due to use or damage may be deducted.
- Refunds are processed via the original payment method.
- We will refund you as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days after receiving the returned goods.
Important Return Conditions
To be eligible for a full refund:
- Goods and packaging must be in essentially new and unused condition.
- All original packaging must be intact and undamaged.
- Items must be carefully packed for return to avoid damage in transit.
We cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
Can You Collect Goods from Me?
Unfortunately, SkyBay does not currently offer a collection service for returns.
Damaged or Faulty Goods on Delivery
Please inspect your delivery as soon as possible. If your items arrive damaged:
- Accept the delivery, note “damaged” when signing for it.
- If unable to check contents immediately, write “unchecked” next to your signature.
Then, within 48 hours of delivery, email info@skybay.uk with:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the damage or fault
- Photos of the damaged item, product box, and outer delivery packaging
Keep all original packaging and repack the item carefully for any return.
Items That Become Faulty After Delivery
Many of our products come with manufacturer warranties. If your item develops a fault after delivery and is still under warranty, it may be eligible for repair or replacement. Warranty return postage may be covered.
Bespoke or Special Order Products
As per Consumer Contracts Regulations, bespoke or specially manufactured items cannot be cancelled or refunded once ordered.
Cancellation by SkyBay
We reserve the right to cancel your order if:
- Stock is unavailable
- We cannot deliver to your area
- Items were listed with incorrect pricing due to:
- Typographical errors
- Supplier issues
- Currency fluctuations
- Technical faults on our website
Force Majeure
SkyBay is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including political, military, or natural events.
